Don't miss the Great Green Expo

It's time for Delaware's Great Green Expo again.

This Saturday, the expo will highlight local and regional businesses that offer green solutions and lessen pollution and waste in Delaware and surrounding areas.

Last year, dozens of interesting new and innovative businesses, products and services were on hand, and I bet it will be even better this year.

The expo will include music, demonstrations, art, organic foods, door prizes and activities for the entire family. Renovation Nation's Steve Thomas will be one of several speakers. Topics will include, solar energy, hybrid vehicles, socially responsible investing and organic foods.

DNREC Secretary Collin O'Mara will give welcoming remarks at 11 a.m. and detail the state's energy savings, green initiatives and environmental programs that help Delaware residents and businesses.

And DNREC's Delaware Energy Office and the Delaware Sustainable Energy Utility's (SEU) Energize Delaware are teaming up in an exhibit that includes the latest information, programs and solutions to help Delawareans save energy and money.

Here are the details:
What: Delaware Great Green Expo
When: 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. Saturday
Where: Chase Center on the Riverfront
Admission: $7, with a portion going to the Partnership for The Delaware Estuary
Parking: Free. Those with hybrid vehicles will be able to park in VIP spots directly in front of the Chase Center.

Hope all is well with All Green To Me! Kind of surprised there is no follow up on the Great Green Expo held this past weekend. First of all, none of my friends knew about it. Wasn't advertized much. The show had a noticeably smaller attendance. I still really enjoyed the show and I got a lot of attention with my electric truck since CMI allowed me to plug in and charge off of their solar display in the parking lot while I was inside. So why no coverage?
